Shop for a publisher from Rzeszów that has been publishing books on personal development, positive psychology and holistic medicine since 2009. The site was built in 2018 on WordPress with WooCommerce and grew together with the catalogue — today it holds over 110 titles, 130 posts and 34 pages.
This is not an ordinary product catalogue. Every book has full bibliographic data: ISBN, format, page count, binding, publication date and imprint. Authors are a separate content type with their own biography and page, and the author–book relationship works both ways, so the list of titles on an author’s profile builds itself.
The child theme contains over a hundred thousand characters of custom code: a dozen-plus shortcodes for book data, authors, availability and shipping costs, custom carousel modules for the builder, rebuilt login and registration forms, a mini cart, a custom reviewer panel in the customer account and Polish tax ID (NIP) validation for business orders.
The sales layer grew over the years: Przelewy24 payments, shipping with InPost integration and flexible shipping rules, discount thresholds for bigger carts, free delivery from 150 zł, back-in-stock notifications, a coupon-based affiliate programme, MailerLite integration, a Google Merchant product feed and Tag Manager.
